Christina (Tina) Galbiati is a nationally exhibited mixed media artist and illustrator known for seamlessly blending analog and digital techniques into powerful visual narratives. Her work explores themes of identity, culture and social themes, with a practice that bridges fine art and design. Central to her approach is a deep engagement with process—crafting images that harmonize traditional design principles with contemporary aesthetics. Beyond the canvas and screen, Christina has over two decades experience in graphic and advertising design; she also brings her vision to the built environment as a muralist, and shares her expertise as an adjunct professor at Moravian University, and Penn State University - Lehigh Valley where she was honored with the 2024 Teaching Excellence Award for part-time faculty. Fun-facts:

  • I love iced-coffee & cats… tomatoes-meh (unless on a sandwich — I know, it doesn’t make sense).

  • On downtime you will find me binge-watching Judge Judy and Dateline reruns.

  • Even though I love design, my “what do you want to be when you grow up” answer was lawyer.

  • I wrote a poem that was published in Andre Agassi’s first fan club newsletter (ca 1989)—the AKA Club (Andre Kirk Agassi) it was organized by his sister right before his Nike endorsement.

  • I can identify all types of needlepoint due to my first graphic design job creating packaging, catalog and pop-displays at a craft brand. The terms: cross stitch, stamped/counted cross stitch, embroidery, crewel, felt, quilting, are forever emblazoned in my lexicon (even though I cannot do this craft!).

  • I twirl a baton (I was a majorette in high school); I still twirl for fun — and, I am still quite good (!).
